Class Descriptions-
Land Aerobics
3-2-1 Interval training format that combines strength, cardio & abs for a quick, intense, and super effective workout. (All levels)
30-MINUTE TONING Need a quick toning and strengthening workout? Join us for 30-minutes and let us help you firm up from head to toe! (All levels)
BODY PUMP This is the original barbell class that challenges
all your major muscle groups by using the best weight room exercises.
Great music and your choice of weight inspire you to get the results you
came for - and fast! (All levels)
INDOOR CYCLING Take a 40-minute ride on a challenging path of
intervals, sprints, jumps, and hills. This exciting workout provides
physical and mental motivation techniques that can be applied to every
journey. (All levels)
JUI JITSU (extra fee for Jui Jitsu) Ground fighting martial art, with influences from Judo & wrestling that focus on chokes and joint locks.
MINUTE MADNESS CARDIO Catch the fitness fever of interval
training. Aerobic interval training is an effective fat burning method
that leads to results. You can do anything for 1-minute!
NORDIC WALKING Take your workout outdoors and burn
calories while enjoying the spring weather. Walking with Nordic Poles
burns more calories than regular fitness walking and tones the upper
body.
SENIOR CARDIO This class targets all areas of fitness for the senior population: cardiovascular, strength, balance & flexibility. You'll work those muscles with dumbbells while seated in a chair, then get up and move to the music. Have fun and get fit!
STRENGTH/CARDIO CIRCUIT If you liked Rep Reebok Circuit, you'll LOVE
this class. Popular strength & toning exercises mixed with easy to
follow bursts of cardio for the best total body workout. (All levels)
TAI CHI FOR ARTHRITIS (Must attend intro class before taking this class) This
program was designed by the Arthritis Foundation specifically for those
with arthritis, but is appropriate for all individuals. It consists of
fluid, gentle, graceful and circular movements that are relaxed and slow
in tempo. The class integrates the mind & body as well as
strengthens and mobilizes joints and muscles, improving physical fitness
and mental relaxation.
WALK-IT-OFF This class is perfect for the dedicated walker or anyone
wanting an effective low impact workout. A combination of easy to
follow choreography, combined with upper body movements will help you
burn calories, improve coordination and tone the entire body! (All
levels)
YOGA-BEGINNER An excellent choice for people who are currently active
and physically fit, but need help with flexibility. You'll be
challenging the body, but in a different way?a good way!
YOGA Think
long and strong with this low impact class. It incorporates strength,
endurance, flexibility, and proper body alignment. This class is a
great way to start or end your day. (All levels)
ZUMBA® A Latin-inspired, easy to follow, calorie-burning, dance fitness party. Feel the music and let loose!
ZUMBA GOLD® Targets the largest growing segment of the
population-baby boomers! It takes the Zumba formula and modifies the
moves and pacing to suit the needs of the active older participant and
those who are just getting started on their fitness journey.
(Beginner-Intermediate)
ZUMBA TONING® This class adds light weights /toning sticks to the Zumba dance party.
Lap Pool Aerobics
AQUA ZUMBA® A "pool party" workout for all ages. A class that is safe, effective and a challenging water based workout that integrates the Zumba formula and philosophy into traditional aqua fitness.
FAMILY SWIM A lifeguard provides supervision in the lap pool. A parent or guardian must be present within the Wellness Center for swimmers under the age of 14. HYDROMOTION Get an excellent cardiovascular workout. A high endurance class that will get you in tip-top shape! (Intermediate to Advanced Aqua Class)
LAP SWIM Only lap swimmers are allowed in the pool during these times.
SENIOR CARDIO Specifically geared towards the senior population, this class provides a lower impact workout with cardiovascular and strengthening benefits. Senior Cardio also helps participants get comfortable with the water. (All Levels)
SWIM LESSONS Water babies, Adult learn-to-swim and levels 1-4. See front desk for details. Pools available for use after those dates. MUST REGISTER! WALK-IT-OFF This class is perfect for the dedicated walker or anyone
wanting an effective low impact workout! You?ll also get a combination
of upper and lower body weight training utilizing paddles
and water weights. (All levels)
WATER SCULPT Sculpt & strengthen the body by using the water,
weights, bands, paddles and noodles for that added resistance. ( All
levels)
Therapy Pool Aerobics
JOINTS IN MOTION Aquatic exercises following the Arthritis Foundation's guidelines incorporating resistance equipment.
WATER ARTHRITIS Arthritis classes are taught according to the program designed by the Arthritis Foundation. Instructors lead exercises that will ease pain and help strengthen our arthritic population. Low impact workout open to all populations.
WATER TAI CHI Tai Chi that you perform in chest-to-neck deep water that combines the exercise of Tai Chi with the safety of water exercise. A great mental, balance and low-impact workout.
WATER YOGA This class will enhance your flexibility and balance through stretching and holding of positions leaving you relaxed & refreshed.
ADULT SWIM Must be 18 years old and up to be in the pool.
DAILY FEES $2.00 Child (under the age of 18) and $4.00 for adults.
