Our Solutions:

Injection Therapies

Injection therapies involve administering medications directly into specific areas of pain, such as muscles, joints, or nerves, through injections into the affected site, providing targeted relief. These therapies encompass various types tailored to treat conditions like muscle pain, joint issues, or nerve irritations, offering a specialized approach to managing chronic pain and improving patient function. Examples of injection therapies include:

  • Epidural steroid Injections
  • Medial branch blocks/Radiofrequency Ablation
  • Sacroiliac Joint Injections
  • Trigger Point, tendon sheath Injections
  • Joint Injections

Minimally Invasive Procedures

Minimally invasive procedures provide effective symptom relief with reduced recovery times and lower risks compared to traditional open surgery, making them a preferable option for many patients. Examples include the MILD procedure for lumbar decompression, the Intracept procedure for back pain, radiofrequency ablation to treat spine and large joint pain, and kyphoplasty for spinal fracture-related pain, all of which aim to alleviate pain while minimizing tissue disruption and promoting quicker recovery.

Several MIS procedures offered at the JCH Pain Center include:

  • The MILD Procedure
  • The Intracept Procedure
  • Radiofrequency Ablation
  • Kyphoplasty Procedure

Implantable Device Therapy

Implantable device therapy, a minimally invasive approach, involves placing devices such as spinal cord stimulators or intrathecal pain pumps to effectively manage various painful conditions, providing targeted pain relief while minimizing surgical risks and recovery time.
