
Jerseyville, IL — August 5, 2025 — JCH HealthCare is proud to announce the appointment of Kevin Zachary as Chief Executive Officer, following a nationwide search and thoughtful selection process. Zachary officially joined JCH in June 2025, bringing with him more than two decades of leadership experience in healthcare operations, patient-centered care, and strategic growth.
Zachary succeeds Beth King, who previously served as CEO. Kevin Goss, JCH’s Chief Operating Officer, had been serving as Interim CEO during the leadership transition.
“Kevin Zachary is an accomplished healthcare leader with a deep understanding of how to build strong teams, enhance operational performance, and keep patient care at the heart of every decision,” said Mary Kirbach, Chair of the JCH HealthCare Board. “His collaborative leadership style and proven track record in community hospital settings make him the right leader to guide Jersey Community Hospital into its next era of growth and service.”
Originally from Texas and most recently residing in Colorado, Zachary has held key executive roles at LifePoint Health, Health Management Associates, Tenet Healthcare, and Halifax Regional Medical Center. His experience includes multi-site leadership, physician recruitment, operational optimization, and fostering a culture of safety and excellence in care.
As CEO, Zachary will lead the daily operations of JCH HealthCare and set the strategic direction for the organization’s future. He will oversee all administrative, clinical, and support functions, working closely with staff at every level to ensure high-quality patient care remains the top priority. Additionally, he will focus on strengthening relationships with community partners, enhancing operational efficiencies, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation across the organization.

Zachary holds a Master of Business Administration from Regent University, a Bachelor of Business Administration from LeTourneau University, and an Associate’s degree in Nursing from Tyler Junior College. His leadership philosophy emphasizes transparency, collaboration, and empowering teams to innovate and thrive.
