Jon Wade, FACHE
Jersey Community Hospital (JCH) is a healthcare organization focused on delivering the best primary care and sustainable secondary care in the communities we serve. We currently serve people and communities throughout a six county area that includes Jersey, Calhoun, Greene, Madison, Macoupin, and Morgan Counties in Illinois.
We are passionate about serving you and evolving our organization to remain relevant to our patients and communities. Our efforts focus on six key areas: People, Service, Quality, Growth, Finance, and Community.
Better people make better organizations. Our people are the best. We contract with the Studer Group, a nationally renowned healthcare training organization, to help us with the tools to make our great staff even better.
Excellent service is our privilege. We participate in nationally benchmarked patient satisfaction surveys for inpatient care, the Emergency Department, and physician offices. In each of these surveys, we consistently rank in the top quartile for patient satisfaction. JCH was recently ranked in the top 11 cleanest hospitals in Illinois.
We will deliver the best primary care and advocate for the best secondary or tertiary level care to our patients. JCH scored a 1.5 on the Hospital Acquired Conditions ranking, one of the top in Illinois and the top score in our bi-state region.
JCH invests in smart growth that keeps us relevant to our communities. We have added 30 primary care providers in recent months as well as a new open MRI magnet and low dose CT unit.
We are good stewards of our resources. Based on third-party reports, we are the only provider in our region that is maintaining a positive financial margin. It’s this positive margin that lets us invest in our people and equipment to continue meeting the communities needs in the future.
We are a leader in our communities, and serve in whatever capacity is needed. We are members of the American Hospital Association, the Illinois Hospital Association, and host regional networks of providers to collaborate on key initiatives to improve patient care.
